“I-It’s fine! I’m use to being forgotten by Sonic and Tails for long periods of time. Their both really busy and I don’t wish to bother them with my problems..”

“W-What?” Sally was shocked to hear something like that coming from a young girl like Cosmo. “Don’t talk like that, Cosmo. Everyone has problems and everyone deserves help from the people they care about. If there’s anything I can do for you, I’d love to help you. I don’t think anyone would have a heart to ignore you if you told them how you felt…”

Sally felt very awful about it, and she was determined to lend a helping hand. “Please, if there’s anything I can do, I’ll help.”

“B-but Sonic is busy fighting in a war and Tails left the workshop for months trying to find ways to make our future better. I cant bring myself to pull them away from matters so critical because I’m unable to stand being away from them. I have to learn not to depend on others so much..”

Cosmo was grateful for Sally’s kindness, but the seedrian’s situation was minuscule compared to what everyone else have to deal with.

 ”N-no. Please don’t waste your time on me. I’ll be fine.”

“Sonic can be like that sometimes, I-I know he still cares about you..” Oh, of course she was sure the pink hedgehog knew that, but to be truthful the seedrian was telling that to herself. The past few months was rough for the poor girl, but she stayed strong through most of it and now with Amy here, she felt certainly better then before.
